Configure Cursor

  1. Install Cursor and launch Rigbolt.
  2. In Rigbolt → Settings → Connections & Remote, choose Cursor and run Configure/Connect.
  3. The integration manages the Rigbolt entry in ~/.cursor/mcp.json; it should preserve unrelated servers.
  4. Restart Cursor if Rigbolt's tools do not appear automatically.
  5. Select a safe development project and start with read-only inspection.
Important — Never replace your entire Cursor configuration with a sample JSON snippet. Rigbolt owns the exact bridge path.

Troubleshoot a local connector

In Rigbolt, confirm the Cursor connection status is configured.

If the config file is invalid, correct its JSON and retry Rigbolt's setup action.

Ensure both applications run in the same logged-in macOS account; check Live Sessions for the attempted call.
